We finally had gorgeous weather here and Sonja hopped on a rental bike and took off for the beach. I was a little pooped, so I stayed home.

It’s noticeable now that there are lots of medicines running around in my body and they want to be granted peace and quiet to do their job effectively.

Slowly but surely it’s getting to be time to eat properly and watch out for bad guys – bacteria. Eat properly means: Foods that are easy on my stomach and digestion, and foods that are themselves free of bacteria, which in turn means: cooking in the room. We’ve got an electric burner, a microwave and as of tomorrow, a toaster, so I think we’ll be fine. It’s too bad with all the great restaurants and good food in Tel Aviv, but that’s just a reason to come back, right?

And pretty soon I’ll have to start wearing a face mask when I’m out and about. Not real atractive but this time around, I have other priorities 🙂

I’ve added some more dates to the timeline, so you have an idea of what’s coming up.

Sonja made delicious gnocchis with sage fried in olive oil tonight -anybody want the recipe?

I read, skyped and enjoyed a beautiful sundown…just learning to take it easy, step by step…

Sundown over the Mediterranean Sea :-)
